OUR AMAZING WEDDING

Well what can we say………… apart from, what was probably the most perfect wedding day we could have ever dream’t off!…..a big thank you to AJ, Scott, Daniella and John and to all the other members of staff at The Saddleworth Hotel. Hats off to the Chef… from the canape’s to the wedding breakfast to the bacon panini’s it was all incredible…from our very first visit to The Saddleworth hotel right up until our wedding day the service has been second to none!!!! unfortunately the weather was not on our side but we did not let this ruin our day and still had the BEST day ever!!! We would highly recommend this beautiful venue to any future Mr & Mrs, Thank You

A LOVELY FRIENDLY, FAMILY RUN HOTEL, NOTHING IS TOO MUCH

Stayed at the Saddleworth a few times and each time it gets better. The staff are so friendly and can’t do enough for you. My thanks to Anthony, Jake, Sean and John, who taxied me about on Friday at the White Friday Band Contest. And really to all the staff, who you don’t meet or see, who are great.

IT JUST DOES EVERYTHING RIGHT WITH A WONDERFUL OWNER IN ANTHONY, TERRIFIC LOCATION AND GREAT FOOD

I stayed overnight for a wedding renewal of vows, some close friends from the USA. Terrific place, great location, and so beautifully appointed. Right up my alley and staying away in my job almost 200 nights a year, I know a good hotel when I see one. I am now thinking of excuses to return!

RELAXING AND LUXURIOUS

Visiting from Australia, we stayed at Saddleworth Hotel for an initial 6 nights prior to the commencement of a 2 week European Tour. We were extremely satisfied so returned for another 5 nights before heading to USA.

CHRISTMAS DINNER

We have been to the Saddleworth hotel a few times and we have enjoyed every single visit. The owners and staff have always been so friendly and helpful. One of our recent trips was for Christmas dinner. The food was excellent, the staff were first class and the owners went out of their way to make sure everyone enjoyed their Christmas dinner. We will definitely be back again. Thank you.

AMAZING VENUE

We had our Wedding a couple of weeks ago at the Saddleworth Hotel, the venue is breathtaking! This was the first place we visited and nothing else seemed to beat it, we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. From the very beginning at booking with Anthony, up until the wedding itself the staff were all very helpful, approachable and full of advice. A special thanks needs to go the staff who made the day run so smoothly, especially Callum, Kelly and Daniella! We had so many comments from our guests on how stunning the venue is, and how amazing the food was, thank you to the head chef and his team! I would recommend The Saddleworth Hotel to anyone who is getting married.

AFTERNOON TEA

My wife received a voucher for an afternoon tea at the family owned and run Saddleworth Hotel and we visited today 5th November.
We were, unusually, the only ones taking afternoon tea but the chef had gone to great trouble to make our meal outstanding and the rest of the staff (mainly family) went out of their way to make the experience enjoyable.
The situation on the edge of the moors give extensive and enjoyable views whilst the interior is extravagantly appointed and kept in the very finest fettle. On a warm day there are outdoor areas to sit and enjoy whilst drinking or eating.
My wife and I always use Reids Palace Hotel in Madeira as the benchmark for afternoon tea and The Saddleworth Hotel experience was well up with that (except for the sun and sea view). If intending to visit you must book in advance as it is usually very busy.

AMAZING FOOD & SERVICE

I booked this for my 32nd birthday meal with a few friends and family.
The experience was absolutely fantastic, food was of a high standard and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly.
Great service throughout, I will definitely be attending again in the near future.

EVENING MEAL

We decided to try the food here as we are getting married here next year and we were not disappointed I had scollops to start and then a fantastic steak which was cooked to perfection.Lots to choose from on the menu great staff and good service it’s a very quite romantic place for couples I would certainly recommend this place.

OUR PERFECT WEDDING!

We had our wedding at the Saddleworth Hotel on the 30th July this year. The owners and staff at the hotel gave us the wedding we dreamt of. From start to finish we were looked after, treated like royalty on the biggest day of our lives. When we were looking for a venue we visited the Saddleworth hotel first, this was our only venue after that visit. We fell in love with it. The backdrop, the immaculate hotel, the amazing staff, it was everything we wanted. On the day of the wedding the guests were wowed by their surroundings, everyone left having had a great time. The food was amazing, John, the manager, had everything running like clockwork, the weather held off for us so were married outside. I was the luckiest man alive that day, Michelles beaming smile lasted all day, a perfect day provided by perfect people. Thank you John, Scott, Anthony and Daniella for everything you did. I highly recommend this venue, it couldn’t have been a better day.

BEST WEDDING VENUE OUR GUESTS HAVE BEEN TO

My daughter was married and had her reception at Saddleworth Hotel on 30 July 2016 (the exact day on which England won the World Cup in 1966 which may have been a good omen) and where it is the a stunning venue, mixing magnificent surrounding countryside views with spaciously ultra-modern fabulously fitted out hotel reception and dining interior areas. The hotel bedrooms are exceptionally spacious and of a very high quality. With three significant car parks surrounding the hotel, it can cater for extremely large events.

The food again was excellent and where I complemented the head chef personally on his quality of presentation and the high quality of the food throughout the three-courses. In the evening we were also looked after by the hotel staff with them providing quality bacon sandwiches which were in abundance and where it helped the party excel. Although seemingly a small management gesture, it was an excellent gesture that all enjoyed as well.

My wife and myself were highly impressed by the whole professional standard of the family-run hotel complex and where our relations on both sides and guests commented that it was the best wedding venue that they had ever been to.

With two exceptionally large internal levels for celebrating (with fabulous glass bridge over the ground floor internally) and extensive external areas for people to enjoy themselves, it is a hotel definitely to have on your short-list and hopefully it will be your final decision. We were certainly glad that it was ours.

Over the years we have been to many weddings throughout the United Kingdom and abroad and where although it was our daughter’s wedding, we can truly say that it was the best venue that my daughter and son-in-law could have ever decided upon. Indeed I have through my work stayed in hotels throughout the world and many 5* hotels. It is certainly on a par with these high-standards and professionalism. In this respect also, other than a major wedding venue it is an excellent hotel for business and holiday overnight stays.

Added to everything on the day, I was also impressed by all the hotel staff and the Maitre’D with their top professionalism. Indeed the whole function from start-to-finish could not have worked more perfectly and where the service was in many ways exemplary.

On a final note, some of the most friendly people that I have ever had the pleasure in dealing with, both outside business and within business, and where I cannot say more how my wife and I were so pleased with the day and its faultless successful outcome.
